Frequently Asked Questions
Plugin or app format support varies by product. In general on Windows and Linux it will be VST3 while on a Mac it will be VST3 + AU. Some products are standalone desktop apps and may be capable of hosting VST3 plugins. Supported formats and system requirements are listed on each product page before purchase.
An internet connection is required for activation of a license online. Offline activation is also available on request (Please use the Contact page to get in touch if you require this.). After activation, normal use does not typically require a constant connection. Check the product page or documentation for details.
After purchase, you will receive a licence key via email. The software will prompt you to activate your license online for which you will need the email address used at purchase time and the licence key. Offline activation is also available on request (Please use the Contact page to get in touch if you require this.)
Unless otherwise stated on the licence terms for the product, you can activate the license on maximum three devices at a time. You may deactivate an unused device from within the plugin or app in order to free up an activation slot for another device. Please use the Contact page to get in touch if you need to deactivate a device you no longer have access to.
Products include a short fully functional preview period (usually two minutes) so you can confirm they work on your system and suit your workflow. The preview period does not require registration. A fully functional 14-Day Trial is usually also offered which requires a valid email address to be entered. After the trial period has elapsed you will need to activate the product.
Because these are digital products, refunds are generally not offered once a licence key has been activated, unless required by law or there is a clear technical issue that cannot be resolved. Please read the product description carefully before purchasing, and get in touch if you are unsure whether a product is right for your setup.

Any DAW that supports VST3 or AU formats should work but in some cases there might be limitations. Please refer to the product pages for further information.
Bug fixes, patches, maintenance releases, compatibility updates, and other minor updates that Tinker Tune Labs generally makes available for the same Major Version line of the Software, are included at no additional charge. Please refer to the the EULA for further details.
